I started my data career in 2018. I was the second hire on the data team of a smallish SaaS company. I had various titles and roles on that team, including managing data analysts and data scientists.
When I say I’m a ‘full-stack’ data pro, I mean I’ve done everything from developing data collection processes, to implementing automatic business processes using ML models. I’ve supported reporting, analytics, and market research. I’ve engineered my own data warehouse and ETL pipelines to support analytics projects. I’ve read countless academic and industry publications to learn about cutting-edge algorithms. And that’s just at work.
When I’m not working, I like making barbecue in my offset stack smoker. I pull a pretty mean espresso shot (multiple times per day). My obsession with detail and process elevate these skills. I also like traveling and hiking with my partner Molly and our dogs. Our trip to Scotland last year was a lifetime highlight.
I have also recently made extra time to do some work on side projects I keep dreaming of in the analytics / macroeconomics realm. You’ll find further info at my github and on my blog (see top menu).
My ultimate goal for my career is to take on roles and projects that maximize my impact. I love solving problems and helping organizations use information to become better. Whether you’re looking for someone to join your team, or you’re looking for a conversation to help us both grow as professionals, I’d love to hear from you!
